    I’m catching up on posts I’ve missed. I’ve kept my favorites from way back , so I can go back and read them. My server can’t find most of the pages when I press the ‘like’ button, or perhaps they automatically disappear from the blogosphere after a certain amount time, so I was surprised to find this page, and with a place for comments, no less! I am spending a lovely hour with you and your poetry today, and it feels like a true holiday.

  4. Happyy Cinco de mayo to you! I had a wonderful Easter, I missed my family, but hopefully in the summer I will go and see them! If you check my FB page, you’ll see how amazing friend of mine decorated the eggs! 🙂 Hugs and love!

  5. May 5 is also Tangu-no-Sekku or Boy’s Festival in Japan. My mother flew a fish kite outside our home with pride upon learning of this tradition. I was her fourth daughter, and my brother was born when I was 11 years old. A happy surprise and something she wanted to celebrate with the world!
