IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE PEOPLE OF BOSTON
AND
PEOPLE EVERYWHERE WHO ARE SUFFERING THE EFFECTS OF VIOLENCE
There is a saying in Tibetan, ‘Tragedy should be used as source of strength.’ No matter what sort of difficulties, how painful experience is, if we lose our hope, that is our real disaster.” Dalai Lama XIV

A horrible and inspiring week for us all, the dichotomy splitting our hearts and our ability to comprehend.

Loved your absinthe post also. I seem to recall you have written another I read some time ago. Your quotation here is wise, if we burn up with anger and injustice we hurt ourselves.

Awful, sickening tragedy ~ you say it so well, Jamie.
On another note, I was writing a poem about absinthe during the week, and lo and behold! a poem from you on that very topic! They say it’s in the ether, ‘eh? 🙂

It is horrible. I hope we will find out who and why. We are all praying … and I think hope there will be no more such events. I think there is a marathon in London tomorrow.

The answer on why must be some twisted explanation, I can’t think of a sane reason on why someone will even consider causing harm! Those people there were gathered for a good cause and if in attempt to provide goodness one finds death, that doesn’t look hopeful, nevertheless, we still HOPE that there will be no more!

Twisted! Yes. 😦
The authorities have ramped up police protection and so forth for the ball games and other gatherings this evening. I read that London is on the alert.
