If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

Emily Dickinson

“What if our religion was each other. If our practice was our life. If prayer, our words. What if the temple was the Earth. If forests were our church. If holy water–the rivers, lakes, and ocean. What if meditation was our relationships. If the teacher was life. If wisdom was self-knowledge. If love was the center of our being.” Ganga White, teacher and exponent of Yoga and founder of White Lotus, a Yoga center and retreat house in Santa Barbara, CA

“Every pair of eyes facing you has probably experienced something you could not endure.” Lucille Clifton

  1. ALONG THE WAY
    My only real wish is
    that when I leave
    this earthly shell,
    and
    all of the joyful
    heartbreak,
    that comes with being alive,
    that I leave having shared
all of the love and caring
    that my heart could give,
and that it is held sacred
    in the hearts and minds,
of those I tried to touch
    Along the way…..
