times are
weighty
fevered
fervent
anxious
the canvas of your life weeps
it is a call to rest ~
to rest
to meditate
to wait …
for spring, a benediction
please listen …
there is always spring
this week
clouds swelled
burst into tears
overflowed into creeks and rivers
crashed into roofs and trees
but you’re still here
a survivor!
rebirth
renewal
relief
benediction
nothing lasts forever
not even this

forever
youth is quick
out of breath is staying
by a long time
it’s swinging on clouds
smiling
and crying in rains
in spring
the youth doesn’t know
about the turns
it waits for nobody
hidden
loves clearly and openly
it speaks to the sky
and to the roots
it knows to count
but it won’t
calculate
we go back to the youth
when we’ve lost it
(in the dream and with a sermon)

Lovely poem with powerful words. Yes, there is always hope and rebirth. Love this: “the canvas of your life weeps”. Yes, I think we are all artists who draw and paint the direction and the meaning of our lives. Somehow your poem seems to connect with the lines of a very humble poem I posted last June: “Some of us have brushes in our hands/
starting the repair job,/ painting a new landscape.” (from: https://momentsbloc.wordpress.com/2017/06/20/moon-fisherboy/)
BTW, as I am so fond of your poems I would love to add a link to your blog from mine. Would you agree to that. This is how my links are organised: https://momentsbloc.wordpress.com/links/
